About: Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) sheep are descendants of a breed developed by Robert Bakewell in Leicestershire, England in the late 1800’s. The spiral, bouncy lock structure of BFL lends itself well to making a sturdy sock or any hardwearing garment yet is soft enough for next to skin wear. The addition of trilobal nylon aids in the yarn’s strength and gives a touch of sparkle
