Tip: When working on a large project like a sweater, I always recommend alternating skeins to distribute color evenly. My favorite method of alternating when working in the round is the yarn forward method. This is where you have 2 strands of yarn going at the same time and at each beginning of round you bring the strand you were knitting forward and then pick up the other strand and bring it back to knit tugging it up a little as you to start to knit.

I really like this video from Elizabeth Smith Knits which shows how to do this. It's a simple and easy technique which adds zero time to your knitting and yields a beautifully blended garment. This practice is a good one to get into regardless if you're using hand-dyed yarn in the event you run out of yarn mid-work and need to use additional yarn that may not be from the same dye-lot as even mill dyed yarns can have variations between batches.
