Come knit your first sweater with us! In this special First Sweater Class, we will be creating the Flax sweater. Why is it special? This pattern is written for baby to adult sizes, so you can knit one for yourself, a child, or a special someone AND we will be paced to complete it by early December so it can be a holiday gift (if you choose to part with your handiwork). The class timeline will be set to comfortably knit an adult, worsted weight version - and if you are knitting a baby/child version, you might even have time to knit TWO!
Course is 5, 2-hour sessions, over the span of 2 months and will cover sizing, gauge swatching, basic top-down raglan garment construction, short rows, increases, casting on and picking up sleeves, strategies for keeping track of your work, etc.
Prerequisites: knit, purl, cast on and off, basic pattern reading
When: 10/6, 10/13, 11/3, 11/10, 12/5 (Tuesdays) 10:00-12:00
