Spinning for Consistency

This class is for anyone who wants to spin a more consistent yarn. Maybe you would like to spin for a sweater, make singles for a specific plying technique, match a commercial yarn for a colorwork project, or just challenge yourself to spin outside of your comfort range. Any of those are excellent reasons to learn some strategies for consistency. We will discuss various methods and try different techniques. Be ready to spin AND take notes! 

This course will be geared towards wheel spinning, but the information is also applicable to electric spinners and spindles. All types of spinners are welcome! 

When: July 17 12:00-2:00

Materials: spinning wheel, fiber* (whatever you would like to bring is fine, but have enough to spin for an hour or two), control card*, journal or something to write notes in
