Painting With Wool: Drum Carding and Art Yarn Spinning
Couldn't load pickup availability
In this class we’ll be using wool, locks, sparkle, and texture to create gorgeous art batts on a drum carder. We will then use our art batts to spin up art yarn using different spinning techniques. Some techniques we will go over are thread plying, core spinning, art boucle, extreme thick and thin, and coils.
We’re going to let go of rules and try not overthink the process. This will be a loosely structured creative time. If there’s any techniques you’ve been curious about, let me know!
