Oregon-Grown Huacaya Alpaca Roving

Luscious, locally grown Huacaya alpaca in a gorgeous natural cocoa brown. This special roving comes from Cocoa, an alpaca raised on a 16-acre ranch in Northwest Portland, Oregon, and was locally processed by woman-owned and operated Oregon Wool & Fiber Mill in Sherwood, Oregon.

Dreamy to spin, this fiber is incredibly soft with the beautiful drape and silky feel alpaca is known for. Spin it on its own for an exceptionally soft accessory, or blend it with wool to add bounce and structure for garments.

As a minimally processed, locally grown fiber, you may find a small amount of vegetable matter throughout the roving. It comes out easily while spinning and is part of the wonderfully natural character of this fiber.
