Dream State is Spincycle’s beloved worsted-weight yarn, known for its dramatic slow-shifting color transitions and signature marled texture. Each batch is dyed in the wool before spinning, allowing the colors to mingle and shift organically — creating bold, painterly gradients that appear as you stitch.

Because of this unique process, no two skeins are ever the same. Each one carries its own personality, depth, and unexpected color moments. Please note that the skein you receive may vary from what’s pictured, as every braid spins up differently — part of the charm that makes Spincycle so irresistible.

Spun at their micro-mill in Bellingham, Washington, Dream State blends hand-dyed vibrancy with the reliable consistency of mill-spun yarn. It’s soft, round, and beautifully balanced — perfect for cozy sweaters, textured accessories, and modern colorwork.
Dream State can be used with DK-weight or light-worsted-weight yarns, making it highly versatile for yokes, fades, and mixed-gauge projects.
