Learn Stranded Colorwork - Shik’is Cowl

Learn to knit stranded colorwork — a technique that opens up endless possibilities from classic, vibrant two-color designs to intricate Fair Isle beauty. This course will guide you through stranded colorwork techniques, gauge swatching for stranded colorwork in the round, how to read a colorwork chart, and how to manage and adjust tension in stranded colorwork while we create the Shik’is (“my friend” in Navajo) Cowl.

Prerequisites
Participants should be comfortable with:

• Knitting in the round

• Knit & purl stitches

• Basic pattern reading

When: Friday July 31st 10-12:30 & Friday August 7th 10:00-12:00

• DK weight yarn, MC 85 yards, CC1 70 yards, CC2 65 yards
