Take your beginning knitting skills up a notch. In this one-day workshop, a condensed version of our regular four-week Knitting 102 series, we’ll build on foundational skills and introduce the tools you need to start knitting with more confidence and independence.

Students will learn how to knit and block a gauge swatch, work in the round, read a knitting pattern, keep track of progress, and navigate pattern-specific stitches and instructions. The goal of this course is to give you the skills and confidence to choose a pattern, select appropriate materials, and cast on your next project with ease.
